Alfa Romeo’s new Spider will be on the Italian manufacturer’s stand at this year’s British International Motor Show at the ExCeL Centre in London on Thursday.

It comes with a choice of advanced direct injection petrol engines, 2.2 JTS (185bhp) or 3.2 V6 Q4 (260bhp). The new Spider will go on sale in the UK at the start of next year.

Alongside the Spider will be the recently launched Brera coupe styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro in collaboration with Alfa Romeo Centro Stile.

The Spider and Brera are the latest additions to the Italian manufacturer’s line up, which follow on from the 159 sports saloon and Sportwagon launched in the UK earlier this year. The Bertone designed Alfa GT and an Alfa 147 will also be at the show.
