Fiat sold over 5,600 Grande Puntos in March, its first full month of sales.

The Grande Punto sales contributed to a sales total of 10,699 for the month, a 64% increase compared to March 2005.

"The Grande Punto is a great product and this is a good start. We are on track to achieve out annual targets," said Giulio Salomone, managing director of Fiat Auto UK.
