Peugeot now offers ESP as standard across its 1007 range.

ESP, short for electronic stability programme, automatically detects if the vehicle is skidding and actively counteracts it. Once it identifies a dangerous situation, it reduces engine power to improve stability and, if required, applies braking to individual wheels without any intervention from the driver.
