The Fiat Punto has topped the Western European sales charts with 37,977 models sold in January.
The Renault Clio was just behind with 36,016 sold and the Ford Fiesta was third with 31,470 models sold.
In the same month, Fiat recorded over 100,000 vehicle sales in Europe, which represents a 17.9% growth over January 2005.
Fiat’s European market share stands at 8.4%, which represents a 1.1% increase over the same month a year ago.
