Fiat’s dealers are reportedly enjoying a positive customer reaction to the all-new Grande Punto, which went on sale on Saturday.

Over the weekend, more than 12,000 customers visited Fiat’s dealer network, completing over 3,300 test drives, with a further 3,600 booked. And dealers also reported some 1,285 confirmed sales orders for Grande Punto.

Fiat Auto UK managing director Giulio Salomone said: "This is a most encouraging start. We are delighted our beautiful, brilliant and solid new car is already making so many friends across the UK, especially as some 25% of these new customers have, up to now, been driving other brands."
