The Renault Nissan Group has appointed Valley Forge UK to train its staff, after five years with Carter & Carter.

The new contract starts next year and under the terms of the agreement, Valley Forge, will deliver technical training to adult and apprentice learners from four of Renault and Nissan’s current training centre network.

Renault will operate regional technical training from its recently opened centre in Doncaster in addition to Glasgow, Wolsey Park (Hertfordshire) and a new facility in the south west, with apprentice training available at all centres except Wolsey Park.

Meanwhile, Nissan will offer technical training alongside its Alliance partner from Wolsey Park near Watford and apprentice training at Doncaster. Renault and Nissan will cease to use the Newport and Nottingham training facilities, which will be retained by Carter and Carter.

Renault and Nissan’s current technical training programmes educate approximately 2,200 technicians and 500 apprentices for Renault and 1,000 technicians and 150 apprentices for Nissan each year.
