DaimlerChrysler has confirmed that it is co-operating fully with the US Department of Justice in an investigation into allegations of bribery at Mercedes-Benz, and has made all its accounts available.

This new investigation follows one begun last year by the US Securities & Exchange Commission, and adds to recent news of bribery and corruption investigations involving individual managers at both Volkswagen and BMW.
