Castrol Business Services has been appointed an approved centre of the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), joining the IMI’s network of 300 centres, following a detailed audit of its training resources and assessment processes.
Delivered through its team of specialist training advisors, a newly introduced programme of training courses designed for clients of Castrol Business Services will be accredited by the IMI through its Quality Assured Awards (QAA) initiative, for assessed industry training programmes.
The training courses, running from 1-4 days, cover areas such as sales and aftersales development, customer handling, financial management, motor trade law and parts up-sell programmes.
Sarah Sillars, IMI chief executive, says: “This new partnership is aimed at bringing added value to Castrol’s own training provision through the formal recognition of individual professional competence on a national level.”
