Blackcircles.com, the online tyre retailing and fitting business, has launched its first fleet management product following demand from the fleet industry.

‘Black Circles Fleet’ has been launched on the back of securing a number of fleet management contracts.

The business trades online, through its call centre and 900 independent fitting centres across the UK.

Mike Welch, managing director at blackcircles.com, said: “The fleet market has always been seen as a ‘lowest price wins’ sector. However, over the last 12 months we have been approached by a number of major fleets looking to use our unique low price, high service proposition. As a result we have launched Black Circles Fleet.”

Welch says: “Unlike the ‘fast fit’ centres which tend to hold only 30% of the tyres on the market we can supply any tyre to any of our 900 fitting centres within 48 hours and at a cost that will compete with anyone and fitted at a time that is convenient to you. Our buying systems allow us to be one of the most competitively priced tyre businesses and one that is appealing to many customers from the man on the street right up to some of the biggest fleets in the country.”

  • Black Circles management team includes Bob Russell, former finance director of Kwik Fit subsidiary ‘Tyre Plus’ and Nick Robertson, the former head of sales in Scotland for Pirelli. Graeme Bissett, former Group Finance Director at Kwik Fit remains the company’s chairman.
