Thirteen British motor industry groups are among the top 100 biggest private companies in the UK.
Figures given are for audited accounts for financial year 2003 or later.
The fourth annual Sunday Times KPMG Top Track 100 shows that Arnold Clark was the biggest out of the 11 dealer groups featured, reaching number 17 in the poll.
TI Automotive came in at 20th place with Camden Motors, the AA and the Kwik-Fit Group making it into the top 50, placed at number 25, 40 and 42 respectively.
Other companies included in the list were: Bristol Street Group at 57, Marshall of Cambridge at 59, Ryland Group at 66, Greenhous Group at 71, JCT600 at 76, Whitehouse at 94. Perrys Group and Listers of Coventry came in at joint 96th.
Topping the 100 is Coral Eurobet.
