Barlows plc has been appointed to redevelop a former cattle market site in Chester into
an autopark.
The seven-acre complex on Bumpers Lane will feature three motor dealerships totalling 36,500sq ft plus 12 trade units totalling 43,500sq ft.
Commercial property consultant Rapleys is advising Barlows jointly with Bolton Birch.
Tony Hindley, partner in charge of Rapleys’ motor trade department in Manchester, says a number of enquiries have already been received about the site from motor retail groups, leisure operators and trade counter users.
Rapleys says it will approach ChryslerJeep, Saab, Chevrolet, Ford, Peugeot and Honda for occupation of the showrooms.
