The keynote speaker at this year’s SMMT Annual Dinner will be Peter Horbury, Ford Motor Company executive director of automotive design.

The November 22 event, which is themed The Challenge of Design, will also be attended by new SMMT president Roger Putnam.

In previous roles, Horbury has been responsible for product design strategies at Ford’s Premier Automotive Group, and headed the design team for the Volvo XC90 SUV.
