Smart has announced that its new Brabus edition Forfour will go on sale in June, priced at £17,195 on-the-road.

The new model will be fitted with a 1.5 turbo-charged 177bhp engine produced by Brabus exclusively, giving a 0-62.5mph time of 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 137mph.

The car will include Brabus exterior body styling, with spoiler, side skirts, sports exhaust, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Black leather sports seats with silver stitching and headrests embossed with the Brabus logo are added to the interior.

The UK was the largest market for sales of Smart Brabus models in 2004, with registrations of 670 models, 6% of total UK Smart registrations for the year.
