Skoda UK has appointed Martin Burke as its head of business sales.

Burke will take over in mid-March from John Rooney who will move to a new role within the Volkswagen Group.

Burke comes to Skoda with 20 years’ experience in the Volkswagen Group. He has worked in Volkswagen Financial Services and the Audi brand, before spending the past three years in the group services department, which supports five brands within the Volkswagen Group.

Rooney has headed the department since its inception in 1998 and leaves the Skoda UK business sales department after six and a half years with the brand.
