To highlight the offer it is running its third National Van Open Week, ending on February 27. The French vhicle manufacturer is hoping to consolidate the third place it regained last year in the up-to-3.5 tonne sector.
From a majority of dealers taking part when the promotion was first run at the end of last year Citroen claims virtually every LCV retailer is participating this time. In addition to the national cashback and finance promotions, dealers can offer their own incentives (such as free sign-writing on new vehicles).
“The target market is primarily fleets of up to 50 vehicles without centrally negotiated contracts,” says a spokesman. “We have no specific sales targets – the aim is for dealers to develop plus business. This gives them a reason to invite new customers along.”
£4,000 (+VAT) cashback is available on the Relay van, £2,000 (+VAT) on new look Dispatch and Berlingo models, £1,700 (+VAT) on C15 vans and £500 (+VAT) on the new C2 Enterprise van.
