Lamborghini will unveil the Concept S at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Created by Luc Donckerwolke, head of design at the Centro Stile Lamborghini in Bologna, the Concept S was inspired by single-seated racing cars.
The windscreen divides the cabin into two compartments creating a space between them that acts as an additional air inlet for the mid-mounted engine.
Front and rear spoilers and a large rear diffuser are included and an electronically controlled, retractable central mirror provides the driver with rear viewing capability.
With no plans for production, the Concept S will remain Lamborghini’s interpretation of an open cockpit vehicle.
