Renault has announced prices and specification for its new Laguna model, which is available to order now ahead of its official showroom debut on March 18.

Renault’s mid-size Laguna has had a complete make-over with brand new styling, interior, choice of engines as well as Hatch and Sport Tourer body styles.

Prices for the Hatch start from £15,775 for the Expression 2.0 16V rising to £23,675 for the Initiale 2.2 dCi 150 Auto. The Sport Tourer version starts at £16,775 for the entry level Expression 2.0 16V, with the top price for the high spec Initiale trim at £24,675.

The new Laguna will be launched with a choice of engines. Four Euro IV engines at launch, the 2.0 135bhp manual and automatic, 1.9 dCi 95, the 210bhp V6 24V automatic and 2.0 Turbo 170 hp manual and automatic. Two more Euro IV engines will be added to the range in Spring 2005, the 1.9 dCi 130 and the brand new sports version GT 205 Turbo.

Also available to order now are the 1.9 dCi 120 and 2.2 dCi 150 manual and automatic, both Euro III engines.
