A second wave of Retail Motor Industry Training (ReMIT) apprentices have joined ranks of Ferrari, under the Ferrari modern apprenticeship scheme.

They will follow a programme of ‘on the job’ and classroom training delivered by ReMIT - the training arm of the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF) - at its centre for technical excellence in Croydon.

Stephen Ramsay, ReMIT managing director, said: “I would like to congratulate these six young learners who have already demonstrated a high level of talent and commitment to a future in motor vehicle repair.

“Competition for these coveted Ferrari positions was ferocious: these young people are therefore a credit to themselves and, I am sure, will be to their future employers.”

The Ferrari Modern Apprenticeship Scheme was created in 2004 to produce fully qualified technicians with specialist product knowledge for the franchised dealer network.
