Volvo’s new C70 will be priced from £26,200 to £33,225 when it goes on sale in February.
The coupe/convertible offers three trim levels - Sport, SE and SE Lux.
Features include a CD audio system (Dolby Pro Logic II Surround Sound available on SE Lux), a door-mounted inflatable curtain (IC) as part of Volvo's SIPS (side impact protection system), aluminium trim inserts, leather steering wheel, electronic climate control, 17-inch alloys wheels, cruise control front ford lights and a three-piece retractable hard top.
The C70 will launch with two five cylinder petrol engines – a 170bhp 2.4i and a 220bhp. A 180bhp D5 turbodiesel is due to follow mid-2006.
Volvo has forecast 3,000 sales for the car in the UK next year.
