There are now 400,000 Motability Contract Hire Scheme cars on the road in the UK, the largest fleet in Europe.

To mark the milestone, Anne McGuire MP, Minister for Disabled People, presented Jeremy Newell, from the West Midlands, with the key to his new Motability car. The Vauxhall Astra estate has been adapted with push and pull hand controls and features a roof-mounted wheelchair hoist.
