The most dangerous drivers live in London and the South-east, according to a study of one million motorists. It ranked postcodes by the number of insurance claims by drivers who admitted liability. The 10 worst areas were in the South-east. Financial firm Admiral found that Scotland and Northern Ireland had the fewest claims.

Meanwhile, Privilege Insurance says this Friday is the peak day for road accidents. It handled more than twice the usual claims on January 28 last year.
