Ian Fraser has been appointed chief executive of Kwik-Fit with effect from February 1.

Before joining Kwik-Fit, Fraser was chief operating officer of Orange UK and before that, trading director at Safeway.

Fraser takes over from Tim Parker, who stepped down from the role in the summer to become the AA’s CEO.

Parker remains deputy chairman of Kwik-Fit, and Sir Trevor Chinn remains chairman.
