Bentley has announced the arrival of its fastest four-door – the Continental Flying Spur.

The new supercar reaches 0-62mph in about 5 seconds and has a top speed of 190mph.

The Flying Spur is powered by a 6-litre 552bhp, twin-turbocharged, 12-cylinder, all-wheel drive engine and will be built at Bentley’s factory in Crewe.

Pricing for the new Continental Flying Spur is yet to be finalised but Bentley expects a similar price structure to that of the Continental GT coupé.

The new Flying Spur will go on sale in Spring 2005.
