Support for a charity event in aid of BEN, the Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund, is gathering pace.

From Monday October 4 to Saturday October 9, Bush2 Limited will use 17 cars, donated by MG Rover, to attempt to visit every franchised motor dealership in the UK.

In total, nearly 6,000 dealerships will be asked to donate to the charity. Those taking part will distribute information and gifts from the sponsors and collect business cards, charging £1 per card. Each member of staff will be asked to ‘guestimate’ the total mileage covered by the cars throughout the week for a chance to win a holiday.

The final cheque will be presented to BEN at its annual charity ball, held on the December 8, 2004.
