BMW has announced that its entirely new model variant, the 320Cd Convertible, will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show.

Powered by a 2.0-litre engine that develops 150bhp. The engine passes Euro IV exhaust emissions standard, without a particle filter.

Top speed for the 320Cd Convertible is 131mph and it reaches 0-62mph in 9.7 seconds. The new model will be offered in SE and Sport variants, with standard equipment including ABS, six airbags, dynamic stability control, park distance control, cruise control and BMW Business radio with single CD player.

Prices have yet to be announced, but the car will go on sale in early 2005.
