Daihatsu has maintained its growth plans for 2004 to reach a 10 year high, after adding one new dealer every week throughout the first half of the year.
The rise has brought Daihatsu’s total UK network to 111 dealers, its highest number for a decade.
These new dealers have helped towards increasing sales, which to the end of July 2004 were 16.25% higher than for the same period in 2003.
New Daihatsu dealerships have opened recently in Wickwar, Long Eaton, Solihull, Macclesfield, Bury St Edmunds, Barnsley, Bransgore, Dundee, Hatfield, Jersey, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cinderford, Ampthill, Swansea, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.
More are due to open at Liverpool, Lowestoft, Maidstone, Newbury, Ruddington and Chatham.
