LeasePlan has selected the Leaselink e-procurement system from Ebbon-Dacs to electronically source its new vehicles.

The system, which will be linked to all 200 of LeasePlan's preferred dealers across the country, will go live from October 1, and LeasePlan is expecting to make major cost savings and efficiency gains, as well as providing significant customer service benefits and enhanced supplier management.

Based at Slough, Berkshire, LeasePlan operates a fleet in excess of 130,000 vehicles and selected Leaselink following comprehensive live trials and assessment of potential providers, conducted by an in-house project team from key areas of the business.

When live, the Leaselink system will be used by over 100 LeasePlan staff from the customer service, purchasing, supplier management and finance departments.
