Dealers are being warned to be wary of any approaches made by a company calling itself Budget Fleet Remarketing.

Police are investigating a recent incident in Northern Ireland where a customer paid money to the company for cars that were never delivered.

Budget Rent-a-Car put out a statement last week making it clear that the two companies are not related. It is taking the company to court for misuse of legislative trademark The company behind Budget Fleet Remarketing is Lakegroove Ltd, with offices in Accrington and London. Dealers are urged to thoroughly check the history of any vehicles offer for sale.
