F&I provider GE Capital Woodchester has announced a programme of restructuring. Between now and March, the business will centralise its sales administration operation at Leeds, extend its opening hours and increase its underwriting and deal capture team by 40%.
Managing director Richard Gaskin says the centralisation will mean the closure of sales centres in Borehamwood and Manchester with the loss of 30 jobs.
“We’ve done extensive research and found that around 50% of our sales centres’ time was caught up in duplicated processes,” he explains. However, a number of new posts will be created at its remaining sites in Glasgow, Birmingham and Leeds.
