Harwoods Limited and Breeze Motor Company Limited have acquired the Testwood Motor Group.

Harwoods Limited has purchased the Southampton Audi, MAN ERF and the accident repair centre divisions of the Testwood Motor Group. The Volkswagen business, including passenger cars and vans, has been sold to Breeze Motor Company Limited.

Harwoods is a family-owned motor dealership group with outlets in Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. Breeze Motor Company, also family-owned, based in Poole, is Dorset’s newest and largest Volkswagen retailer.

Ed Oakley, Testwood managing director - who will join the Harwoods Board - says: "Harwoods and Breeze share the Testwood Group’s core values of outstanding customer care and service and are keen to build on the success and reputation that the Testwood Group has achieved over the years. I am delighted that staff roles are unaffected by the acquisition – providing a seamless handover and ongoing relationships for our valued sales and after-sales customers."

The Volkswagen Cars, Volkswagen Vans, Audi and MAN ERF businesses will continue operating from Testwood’s current sites at Shirley Road, Salisbury Road, Chandlers Ford and Nutsey Lane, respectively.
