The UK's first event promoting global collaboration between firms in the automotive sector will be staged in Wales next month.

The AutoLink Wales 2004 event will be held at Cardiff International Arena on November 23.

The event has attracted some of the leading automotive figures from Europe, including Heinz Traudt, head of international purchasing at the BMW.

An exhibition will be on display throughout the day to highlight the climate of collaboration and innovation that is sweeping across the international marketplace.

The core feature of the event will be the opportunity to establish contact with suppliers and manufacturers from across Wales, the UK and Europe. Attending companies will be able to use an online appointment selection system prior to the event to hold one-to-ones with companies they are interested in meeting.
