A Final Edition, with standard equipment specification, will mark the final production run of the A6 Avant as it makes way for its all-new successor, due in mid-2005.

The A6 Avant Final Edition range is available to order now powered by 1.9TDI (128bhp), 2.5TDI (161bhp) and 2.5TDI (178bhp) engines and with prices ranging from £23,590 OTR to £30,250 OTR.

Based on the SE version of each model, the Final Edition specification includes Buffalino leather upholstery, electronic climate control, a combined DVD-based satellite navigation system and MP3 player and a boot-mounted six CD autochanger. Cruise control, alloy wheels (16-inch Competition design for 1.9 TDI, 17-inch ‘half moon’ design for 2.5 TDI 161bhp / 178bhp) and colour-keyed bumpers and sills are also among the equipment highlights for Final Edition models.

The A6 Avant Final Edition range will remain in production until December 2004.
