Rover has given a strong hint towards future design direction by revealing a new look for the 75. Changes to the front and rear aim to give the car a premium look like core rivals from BMW and Audi.

New for 2004 are one-piece halogen front light covers and new rear lamps. There is also a fresh grille with a revised Viking badge. Inside, expect changes to the dash and switchgear. No major mechanical changes have been made to the power plant, transmission or suspension.

Set to hit forecourts in time for the March sales rush, the updated 75 will be priced from £16,995 and sit alongside similarly revised ZT and ZT-T versions from MG.
