AutoExCel, the automotive aftermarket event launching in 2005 at ExCel in London's Docklands, has added further members to its 'Founders Group', taking the total membership over 60.

New additions include: Apec Braking, Atlas Copco Compressors, Crypton, FAI Automotive, Lucas SRE, Sachs Boge, Summit Accessories, Visteon and Professional Motor Mechanic.

"We are delighted to announce that exhibition stand space is already being booked for April 2005," said event director, Richard Abels, adding, "We will be unveiling a number of initiatives - never before seen in aftermarket exhibitions - each one integral to the success and development of a high quality trade event." The show is scheduled to place at London's ExCeL event facility in Docklands from April 24th-26th 2005.

The new event would add to - or displace - two current UK aftermarket shows; one organised under the auspices of the SMMT and linked to the forthcoming CV Show, and the Aftermarket Show managed by Haymarket alonside its recent Autosport International Show at the NEC.

A trade event for the entire automotive aftermarket; servicing, parts distribution, body repair, accessories, fast-fit, etc., AutoExCel is planned to incorporate conferences, seminars, skills displays and competitions alongside the trade exhibition hall. http://www.auto-excel.com
