Specialist German motor trade lawyer Dr. Christian Genzow has told the trade website autohaus-online that a Munich court has delivered its verdict in respect of one of three temporary injunctions sought by the German association of BMW dealers. The issue in question was the single year's termination notice given to dealers tin BMW's contract terms, which the court has ruled to be inadmissible.
BMW had earlier rejected its dealer association's complaints on this and other contractual issues, which were made after dealers had signed their new contracts. Responding to the reported court decision, BMW spokesman Uwe Mahla commented that the company would take no action pending release of the court's written verdict. (Sources: Die Welt, autohaus-online)
