MINI is introducing specification upgrades for 2004 models.

Enhancements to all models built from September 1, 2003 include 'follow me home' headlights that stay on for 40 seconds after the car has been locked, additional digital speed read-out in the rev counter, a re-lock function if the car is left unlocked for two minutes and wipers that will automatically change from slow mode to interval mode if the car is moving at below 2mph.

Also from September, the £100 on-board computer option will have an instantaneous fuel consumption read-out and a rear spoiler will be available for the One D priced at £100. There are also changes to paintwork and upholstery options.
