Mitsubishi Motors UK has appointed Robert Ayland as its new general manager of retail operations with responsibility for dealerships in Cheltenham, Reading, Bristol and Cirencester, collectively known as the Colt Mid-West Group.

Mr Ayland joins Mitsubishi following eight and a half years with Warner's Motor Group, based in Gloucestershire, where for six years he was sales director and for two years managing director responsible for five dealerships.

He lives in Dymock near Gloucestershire with wife Rachelle and three children George, James and Charlie.
