Nissan's has reported a 33 per cent rise in profits for the fiscal year ended March 31. Sales grew in regions bar Europe, the company says.
Profit totalled $4 billion, with sales growing 10.3 per cent to $58.5bn on the back of healthy sales in Japan and North America.
The figures are a testament to Carlos Ghosn's turnaround plan of cost-cutting and focus on profitable models.
