Polar Motor Group has acquired the Calderford Ford business in Wakefield.

PMG, a joint venture between Jardine Motors Group and Ford Motor Company, says the dealership will trade as Polar Ford Wakefield and will be operated in conjunction with existing Polar businesses in Bradford, Barnsley, and York.

PMG's managing director Alun Jones says: “Calderford has been a successful family-owned business for many years and our aim will be to maintain the excellent customer relations the business has enjoyed while adding the benefits of being a larger group.”
