The European company car market has seen a major boom in demand for operational leasing products, according to a new report from Datamonitor.
In European Fleet Leasing 2002, the company says that as companies move towards outsourcing non-core operations, operational leasing will gain further ground, with a 32.3 per cent share of company cars, reaching a volume of 6.08 million cars by 2007.
“Lessors should focus on developing their product sophistication and expanding their target audience, drawing new clients with attractive fleet solutions, on-line reporting tools and incentives,” says a company spokesman.
