Volvo Car UK has confirmed the three DuPont Performance Coat-ings brands – DuPont Refinish, Spies Hecker and Standox – as preferred business partners for its body and paint network.

The long-term strategic partnership covers refinish materials and support solutions to all centres approved by the Swedish carmaker for crash repairs.

“Body and paint is critical to our future business growth and we know DuPont is committed to working with our dealer network,” says Volvo parts product manager Peter Smith. “It has the knowledge, experience and expertise we need.”

DuPont is also a major supplier to Volvo's manufacturing facilities through its OEM arm.
