Hyundai's curvy Coupe from 1996 was its first car with attractive styling. It's a value alternative to the Fiat Coupe and Ford Cougar.

An entry-level 98R 1.6 with 32,000 miles is just £7k at independents. More desirable is the limited-edition F2 Evolution, with 16-inch alloys and body kit. A 24,000-mile 00W example is about £11k at a dealer.

Hyundai brought out a revised model in February 2000, with twin headlamps and new interior trim. We found a 10,000-mile 2.0 SE for around £11k at a Hyundai dealer (list was £16k).
