Fiat Auto has cut the price of almost 700 service-related original fitment Fiat and Alfa parts for out-of-production vehicles by up to 20%.

The reductions affect the car ranges and Fiat commercial vehicles and includes Punto, Cinquecento, Uno, Tipo and Ducato, Alfa 145, 146, 155 and 164. An example is the retail price of Punto brake pads which have been reduced from £33.41 to £28.43 and Cinquecento brake pads from £27.16 to £23.09.

"There is a trend for three-year-plus vehicles to 'migrate' from the franchised dealer network. With these reductions we are proving to our partners in the repair industry that our genuine parts are an affordable choice," said Andy Hayward, Fiat Auto UK's parts marketing manager.
