North east-based Benfield Motor Group is launching its first TV advertising campaign for a decade. The six-week campaign on the Tyne Tees and Border regional channel begins this week and is designed to raise awareness of the new-style plate change at the beginning of September.
It will highlight the range of cars on offer at Benfield dealerships.
Benfield marketing director David Collins said: "We want to maximise our visibility in the lead up to this key business period and ensure the Benfield name is at the front of the mind of all potential customers."
