Autobytel has launched In-drive, a package said to provide “the reassurance of having a company car” for people who opted out of fleet provision.

Business users face the possibility of higher tax bills under the emissions-based tax rules which come into force next spring.

Inchcape Financial Services (part of the same group as Autobytel, the online buying company) is providing finance from 10.6% APR.

The Autobytel package includes a fixed monthly payment to cover all finance, maintenance, servicing and road costs. A spokeswoman said: “All cars will be sourced from the UK without the delays affecting parallel imports. Each car will be delivered to the customer.”

Inchcape has developed a series of new offerings since its original concept of website referrals to dealers committed to charges failed to attract sufficient revenue.
