Former Lancia styling chief Mike Robinson has been appointed as the new head of Fiat Centro Stile in Turin.

He is replaced at Lancia Centro Stile by Wolfgang Egger, who returns from SEAT. A Californian, Mr Robinson joined Fiat Auto in 1986 and has, among other projects, been responsible for Thesis, Lancia's new flagship, which is to be introduced at the end of the year.

All Fiat styling bosses remain under the direction of Humberto Rodriguez.
