Lookers has acquired Broadfields Land Rover in Bishops Stortfield for an undisclosed sum.

This strengthens Lookers' representation of Land Rover, bringing the total number of franchises to three in the South east, the others being in Chelmsford and Hadleigh. Lookers' Land Rover franchise director Graham Kimberley will be in charge of the new facility.

Fred Maguire, Lookers' chairman, said: “This acquisition not only strengthens our position in the South east but also means that we are well placed for future allocation of franchises from the Premier Automotive Group.”
