Listers of Coventry is the only dealer group in the Sunday Times' poll of Britain's fastest profit-growth companies.

The group ranks at number 51 in the list, published yesterday, which uses data from Companies House to identify the UK's unquoted companies whose growth has grown fastest during the last four years.

Listers, a new entry in the poll from last year, is quoted as having a 39.13% annual profit growth (1999-00: £5.4m. 1996-97: £1.99m). The company runs 15 dealerships.

Topping the Profit Track 100 list is “actuarial-services provider” Hazell Carr with 114.24% annual profit growth and 1999-00 profits of £14.5m.
