MG Rover is recalling 7,010 MGFs, produced between September 2000 and September 2001, because of a possible fault with the seatbelt pretensioners.

Owners of models in the affected VIN range are being informed by letter today and are requested to contact their local MG Rover dealership who will arrange for the remedial work to be carried out free of charge. (December 11, 2001)
