Simon Frith, Lexus GB's general manager of operations, is to leave the company to join the RRG dealer group as operations director, based at Salford Quays.

Mr Frith joined Toyota in 1991 from university and the Royal Marines. In his 10 years with the Toyota group he has held a number of sales roles including dealer development manager for the Toyota brand.

“We are sorry to see Simon leave the team,” said Stuart McCullough, Lexus GB director, “but at the same time very happy for him. His new role at RRG is an important one and we are pleased he will be staying within the broader Toyota family.”

Mr Frith's replacement will be announced later.
